It is, to the author’s knowledge, the only high-rise with a combined radiant panel & UFAD mechanical system. The passively conditioned atria set a precedent in the City of San Francisco for energy code compliance and help reap many LEED points. Drawing on its urge to revolutionize the transportation industry, Uber is pushing the frontier with its innovative headquarters.
