Zach has over 15 years of experience in engineering, construction and real estate development. He specializes in clean technology, renewable energy, energy efficiency and hi-tech projects for manufacturing plants, cleanrooms, data centers and medical facilities. Zach holds expertise in project design and delivery in SE Asia and China, government entitlement, environmental issues, sustainability, financial analysis and speaks the language of commercial and industrial construction. DESCRIPTION As the head of project management, Thomas is dedicated to the end-to-end management of projects; from the development and analysis of the business case, all the way through to concept design, detailed design development and construction. He also supervises and manages project scheduling, budgets and the project set-up with clients, subcontractors, vendors and consultants. With over 16 years of experience, Thomas is an excellent and effective project manager with a proven track record of leading a delivery team in successfully managing any projects in accordance with design drawings, contract documents, schedule and budget.

DESCRIPTION Praveen is responsible for all areas of MEP, IT, AV SECURITY AND IoT planning, design and analysis - performing engineering evaluations, systems design, calculations, specifications, cost estimating and delivering project solutions. He has over a decade of industry experience in the above role as well as in technology design solutions, vendor selection and negotiations, procurement and cost management and project management. Praveen is also skilled in AutoCAD, Basic BIM (Revit MEP) and MS Projects. With a high level of attention to detail, Praveen has successfully managed Space Matrix’s MEP design projects from initiation through to completion. Praveen has worked on the delivery of numerous successful commercial projects and has an excellent knowledge of MEP systems such as Electrical, ELV, HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Protection and Fire Alarm systems.

DESCRIPTION Troy has over 15+ years experience in design and project management and has successfully delivered numerous corporate office fit out projects as well as commercial and retail outlets within Australia and across the globe. His strong communication skills and a solid understanding of business objectives, end-user requirements, and corporate functions; coupled with his extensive experience make him the ideal candidate to lead any project.

Arjun Nagar is Milestone’s Chief Revenue Officer. As CRO, Arjun is responsible for the strategy, alignment, and performance of all our Go to Market activities. Arjun is an accomplished business leader with more than 20 years of experience in driving business growth and transformation in the Information and Managed Services sector. Throughout his career, he has helped shape and build global businesses and lead sales, product and marketing teams to help customers in their digital and cost transformation journey. As a customer-focused and data driven leader, Arjun believes in personally establishing and nurturing trusted business relationships to deliver business outcomes. Arjun has extensive international experience having lived and worked in the US, EMEA and APAC and had the privilege of leading and managing cross functional teams with diverse backgrounds and cultures. He joins Milestone from IBM, where he was the Head of US Sales for the Financial Services sector within their Infrastructure and Cloud business. In that role, he led solutions across Cloud, Workplace Services, Data Center, and other infrastructure services. He drove strong transformation of the business leading to improved sales and increased customer and employee engagement. Prior to IBM, Arjun spent 15+ years at Thomson Reuters, where he led Enterprise Information business for the financial services sector across the US, EMEA, and APAC. Arjun holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

Olivier Crene serves as Milestone’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of Customer Experience and Infrastructure Services. He has full P&L and operational responsibility for Milestone’s Core Business which includes Data Center, Service Desk, Contact Center, ALM, End User Device Management, AV/VC, Security and Network related services. Carrying over two decades of extensive experience in the Information Technology Sector, Olivier is a leader whose expertise lies in managing client accounts and Information & Communication Technologies (ICT) Outsourcing Services. Prior to joining the Milestone team, Olivier gained experience as a Software Developer, System & Network Engineer, and Architect for such companies as EDS, Nortel Networks and Atos before moving into pre-sales. There, he leveraged key partnerships with large technology companies like Microsoft or Cisco to on-board new clients. Olivier later joined Deutsche Telecom and its French outsourcing enterprise entity T-Systems France, to create a complete Service Desk and Desktop Operations Service for a leading Aeronautic, Defence and Space Company, and eventually accepted the role of Board Member / Vice President ICT Operations. Most recently, Olivier assumed the position of Vice President of International Accounts and Service Management at T-Systems International. Specializing in global oversight of long-running multi- million-dollar ICT outsourcing contracts, he led up to 15 countries and 400 associated Service Delivery Managers and Account Managers across the Americas, APAC and Europe towards managing over 1,600 existing contracts that ranged from $100K to $70 million. Through Olivier’s leadership customer satisfaction scores and revenue increased significantly. Olivier holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Electronics from Paris’ ESME Sudria Engineering School, for which he is currently a mentor. He is also a Board Advisor and investor for the Chicago-based startup company Solaroid, Inc., a pioneer in drone technologies and aerial surveys.

Sunny Saggu serves as Milestone’s Director of Sales for Data Center Services. He has 15 year of experience in the Data Center and IT Sector, Sunny has extensive experience in managing Data Center projects spanning from Hardware procurement, Deployment, Migration and Operations. Sunny has led large scale Data Center projects with the leading IT companies in the Silicon Valley including Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Calix, Hitachi, Nvidia, Arista, Broadcom and others. Sunny has also built a partner alliance with leading Colocation Service Providers, Hardware Manufacturers, Distributors, Contractors and other Technology firms to create turn-key solutions for client projects. Recently, Sunny has focused on creating low-touch and automated data center environments in Colocation Data Center for traditionally high-touch environments such as Test labs. He was able to achieve this through partnerships with physical layer switching to create wire-once architecture, implementing orchestration software and automation.

Sunny holds Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Vancouver’s Simon Fraser University. He is also a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP).

AlfaTech provided overall project construction management including on site observation and project tracking and reporting services. In addition to providing overall management of the design build team and on-site project tracking services, AlfaTech provided the project basis of design and peer review of the design build team construction documentation to ensure a complete, and consistent design. This peer review effort included MEP, telecom and communications, architectural, structural, civil, fire protection, controls, LEED consulting, and life safety services for this extremely energy efficient data center project.

This project represents the client’s third data center site also under AlfaTech project management and design.

The client required a data center to be collocated within new office space in Singapore. The data center supported a combination of several high density racks to accommodate equipment load for network, storage and lower density servers, and was segmented to support the collocation of multiple groups.

While the majority of design and construction oversight was performed by local resources, AlfaTech assisted in the development of program requirements, schematic level design and to then provide peer review.

Singapore SAVVIS

Type: Floor Plan Data Center Size: 53,000 SF

AlfaTech delivered turnkey design and construction management services for CenturyLink’s Singapore data center facility. This Tier 3+ data center is a 53,000- square-foot facility, which includes 32,000 square feet of raised floor space and an IT capacity of 3.6MW. The facility will offer enterprise-class co-location, managed hosting, cloud computing and network

RAYCOM DATA CENTER Daquin, Chuangzhi Island, China

Type: Data Center Size: 130,000 SF

AlfaTech was hired to provide recommendations on current data center trends and technologies for incorporation into a new data center facility development in Northern China. The Tier 3 level data center was designed to accommodate six 2- MW critical load modules plus redundancy, for a total of 12 MW critical load. The goal was for a highly energy efficient data center with an annualized PUE of 1.4 or less. The estimated total load for the facility is 16.8 MW. As a result of AlfaTech led workshops, a basis of design and schematic level design documentation was created to serve as the guidelines for the local design and development team.

Alfa Tech VestAsia was engaged for turnkey design and project delivery of a new high-performance combined resource computing center, rejuvenation of legacy systems and critical data center relocation for the Singapore Government. In addition to this, AlfaTech designed and built 6000 SF of support office space. AlfaTech is in charge of the Facility Operation for A*Star.

Formerly known as JDS Uniphase, Viavi Solutions has engaged AlfaTech as its capital projects partner since 2011. In total, AlfaTech has helped build and redesign ~150,000 SF of data center, laboratory and support office space in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.

AlfaTech provided full procurement and construction management support for the design and execution of a 6MW purpose-built data center with approximately 1000 custom cabinets. In addition to the base infrastructure, Alfa Tech also helped design and execute their intricate and advanced low voltage cabling network and rack and stack for all their gear. Post completion Alfa Tech provided technical operations support for the duration of the project’s lifecycle with fiber and cable technicians managing the efficient and service level achievement of the data center to support its intended use. Alfa Tech was also responsibility for facility operations supporting ongoing maintenance, move-add-change work for the customer and soft services for the ancillary office a workforce spaces associated. Once the data center was deemed redundant by the customer Alfa Tech was turnkey contractor for reinstatement to the satisfaction of the landlord.

For over a decade, members of our team have provided services for a variety of projects for Lumentum (formerly JDSU) in the United States and internationally totaling over 640k SF. Projects have ranged from class 100 clean rooms, manufacturing facilities, and office spaces to data centers and server rooms.

AlfaTech provided full mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection engineering, technology design services and overall design project management for tenant improvement to this existing operational collocation facility. This $41 million project includes two separate 22,000 SF build-outs with necessary utility infrastructure upgrades. Electrical design includes live conversion of 2N Data Center spaces to a 3+1 block redundant design and redistribution of existing loads. Mechanical design includes payback analysis for rooftop air handlers with air side economizer and central plant chiller upgrades to optimize system efficiency and reliability. AlfaTech acted as the LEED NC program coordinator and developed design and construction strategies to obtain it’s recently awarded LEED Certified Level status. The firm managed the entire application and appeals process without the use of a LEED consultant, including online documentation of sustainable measures implemented for certification. In order to meet the high data center demand in California’s Silicon Valley, Equinix targeted a rapid expansion/ conversion of their existing SV2 facility located in Santa Clara. AlfaTech led the design team and completed the MEP design for this fast-paced project. We were able to complete the project ahead of schedule, reduce the overall project costs, and incorporate sustainable construction practices. This project was awarded the 2008 Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine’s Gold ARC Award for renovation and the Silicon Valley Power Energy Innovator Award in the “Energy Efficiency Partner” category at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Energy Summit.

Adobe Systems selected AlfaTech to perform design services for its DC1 data center project located in the State of Oregon. This project is a greenfield design of a LEED Certified 70,000 SF steel and precast or tilt-up data center. The data center consists of approximately 30,000 SF of “data hall” space for IT/Server equipment, electrical, mechanical, and mezzanine rooms for critical infrastructure, office space, loading dock, and equipment storage. The design included 7,500 kW of critical IT power to the data hall, which was fed from 12kV main switchgear, new transformers and new UPS modules, new PDU’s and new distribution. HVAC is evaporative cooling plus supplemental direct expansion cooling. Design of hot aisle and cold aisle containment was also included. The construction included the complete building shell and a single 3MW POD with accommodations for expansion of the remaining 4.5MW.
