AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing/fire protection engineering design services for the design of this 48,000 SF space which will include restaurants, lounges and private studios and is envisioned to host fashion shows, photo-shoots, filming, concerts, awards shows and private parties. The space features a grand staircase and unique entryways that shall allow for multiple celebrations to take place simultaneously whilst maintain the privacy on each event. The existing building is a historic 2-Story + Basement concrete building built in 1931. AlfaTech have been part of the team to breath life into this iconic building that will be converted into (2) restaurants on the ground level that will include commercial and display cooking kitchens in addition to new public restrooms. The 2nd level will be a multi-function event space intended to house up to 500 occupants at maximum capacity. The space shall be mostly column free with refurbished skylights.

FLIGHT is located within the master planned Tustin Legacy, a site that possesses a unique and storied history. Earlier uses on the site were rooted in the same fundamental skills and themes: productivity, innovation and entrepreneurship. From vast commercial farming of orange groves, to the military’s construction by hand of two massive blimp hangars to a City that has painstakingly planned the long-term development of Tustin Legacy, FLIGHT aims to carry on this legacy of excellence of ingenuity. FLIGHT at Tustin Legacy is defined by its hallmark distinctive features: innovative design characteristics, a market-leading amenity package, unparalleled branding & definition opportunities, and infinitely flexible office space, situated in a truly unique setting & centralized location. All of this is thoughtfully designed to create inspirational and highly efficient working environments in order to help companies maximize productivity, employee satisfaction, and overall success. This progressive architectural feature allows for efficient space planning, unobstructed views and collaboration within the space. Imagine a 360-degree window view from your desk or break area. FLIGHT features above standard 14' true ceiling heights, plus expansive deck-to-deck heights from 22' to more than 37' on upper floors. Retail amenities including a chef-driven food hall, indoor and outdoor meeting facilities, indoor and outdoor fitness areas, on-site conference facilities and more. The campus offers multiple and dynamic indoor and outdoor work environments designed to stimulate productivity via great workplace settings and connect tenants to the beautiful climate of Southern California and its weather. We provide MEP engineering services for the Core and shell design of the entire campus.

Type: Co-working Office, Cafe Size: 400,000+ SF
Provided engineering design services for this retail project. The facilities consisted of a warehouse, retail outlet and offices. This retailer is headquartered in Australia and is most well known for its UGG brand.
One main feature was the multiple story atrium which was used by this facility to live stream fashion shows from this location to other Decker/Ugg locations.
This facility is part of a larger retail mall which consists of other retailers, restaurants and cafes.

Type: Residential, Mixed Use Size: 65,712 GSF
AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing design-build engineering and technology (Low Voltage and Security) design services for the new construction of this 8-story, condominium mid-rise located in the epicenter of San Francisco at South of Market. The Civic Center and prominent High-Tech Headquarters are located in the vicinity. This 66,000. SF. project was inclusive of a subgrade parking garage, ground-floor retail, 39 condos and multiple terraces overlooking San Francisco. A host of urban amenities ranging from first class retail and dining to culture and entrainment venues are within walking range. The building systems were approached through a robust code-compliant envelope, finely filtered make-up air, hot water hydronics, and natural ventilation. Refrigerant- based heat pump systems were provided for amenity spaces and retail. The building included an Energy Management System for main building equipment for ongoing measurements and verification.
Construction finished in 2020.

The project is an entirely new 21-story high rise / mixed-use, plus mechanical penthouse. Space planning includes residential, office, warm shell retail/restaurant, amenities, parking within building structure, outdoor private/common space, circulation, and BOH. Along with the building, space planning will be the MEP infrastructure included in the core. The building is located on the north side of Carlysle Street between Almaden Boulevard and Notre Dame Avenue, San Jose, CA with approximately 558,097sf of gross area building space plus outdoor private/common space.

The firm provided engineering design services for this multi-building project called The Market at 9 th & Flower, located in Downtown LA.
The project consisted of 500 residential units (approximately 450,000 SF), 50,000 SF grocery store on the ground floor, 32,500 SF retail warm shell space and 700+ parking units in 2 garages.

AlfaTech provided MEP design services for this 73,500 SF new, retail/office building in Union Square. The project consisted of the complete demolition of 290 Sutter and adjacent 272 Sutter and construction of a new ground up six-story structure with a basement.

Size: 580,000 SF
Flyte El Segundo offers more than 580,000 square feet of rentable space. The improvements surrounding this project re-positioning entailed a new plaza is being built between the two office towers which added new landscaping, raised wood platforms for outdoor dining options, Retail Food Service Establishments kiosks, an amphitheater, seating areas, shade structures, and space for food trucks.
