AlfaTech was hired to provide recommendations on current data center trends and technologies for incorporation into a new data center facility development in Northern China. The 130,000 SF Tier 3 level data center was designed to accommodate six 2- MW critical load modules plus redundancy, for a total of 12 MW critical load. The goal was for a highly energy efficient data center with an annualized PUE of 1.4 or less. The estimated total load for the facility is 16.8 MW. As a result of AlfaTech led workshops, a basis of design and schematic level design documentation was created to serve as the guidelines for the local design and development team.
