In February 2017, ATPD was selected to receive a $1M+ contract to provide full 'me overall project management for Google’s tenant improvements of six office buildings over the following eight months. This is one of the largest wins the company has landed, and Google made their selec'on of ATPD in only two days. The project will include office space, labs and mixed use spaces. The ATPD Google team includes David Nikoley, Alex Er's, Steve RosseNa and Virginia Gillmore. Although Google has been a long'me client for AlfaTech on the design side, this is the first ATPD project with Google. ALFATECH EXPANDING IN ASIA The AlfaTech Singapore office is expanding, with partner offices in Shanghai, China; Tokyo, Japan; and Hong Kong. With this expansion, we aim to increase our interna'onal mission cri'cal/data center and office construc'on management porpolio, as we are currently pursuing projects in these market sectors.

LUCASFILM LANDS IN LOS ANGELES The Lucas Museum of Narra3ve Art

Last year we began working with LucasFilm on the early conceptual design for the Lucas Museum of Narra've Art while the client explored two possible loca'ons: San Francisco and Los Angeles. In January, the decision was made to develop this project in Los Angeles, and the client is working closely with AlfaTech’s Southern California and San Francisco team to bring this world class project to reality. The museum will be a state-of-the-art building and will be a showcase for all things narra've arts, and other Dreamworks related exhibit items. Including parking, the total gross square footage is es'mated to be 1,127,000 SF. The architect for the project is MAD, located in China. The local Architect of Record is Stantec. Note: The details of this project must remain en3rely confiden3al and must not be shared outside AlfaTech due to our NDA contract with our client.

Paula Venegas, who is a USGBC LEED Accredited Professional, led the charge to get AlfaTech’s San Francisco office registered with the City as a San Francisco Green Business. EASY BEING GREEN

This was no simple task. Following stringent requirements, this effort required modifica'ons to power supply throughout, and switching to supplies and food/beverages for those that are most sustainable. The final step was helping to retrain the office staff to follow the program. Paula is a Project Administrator located in our San Francisco office, and through her background in architecture, is passionate about sustainability.
