AlfaTech is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and process piping engineering design services fort the relocation to the new headquarters for Beyond Meat into a two-story building. Project includes complete demolition of the interior and will consist of a 143,000 SF R&D, Lab Space, Test Kitchens and Refrigerated Storage and 107,000 SF office space in a phased construction. Project included the design of the “house” high pressure steam system (100 PSIG), including steam boilers, a deaerator/boiler feedwater system, a blowdown tank, a flash tank, chemical treatment, steam system controls, a steam distribution system (including expansion joints), steam trapping, condensate distribution, condensate pumps, condensate coolers, etc. Also included was a “clean-steam” generator and a clean-steam distribution system.
