The firm performed mechanical and electrical engineering design services for this 3-story medical office building which included converting existing office space into medical exam rooms, patient treatment rooms, physical therapy suites and a new pharmacy. An AIDS/ICH treatment clinic was provided; complete with patient treatment "negative pressure" isolation rooms. Significant HVAC upgrades where required for the renovation. New power and telephone/data distribution throughout the entire building was required and new lighting for the upgraded areas. A new fire alarm system was specified, and the corridors were upgraded to bring the building up to current code requirements. The 14,000 SF consists of a Feasibility Study of the existing Don Lowe Pavilion to evaluate the potential for this site to be converted.
