*AMYLYN PHARMACEUTICALS – San Diego, CA This project consisted primarily of a laboratory expansion, including BSL3 labs, and incorporating cGMP practices for pharmaceutical production. Project utilized “reclaim water” for cooling towers and the project earned LEED Silver certification. Amylin Pharmaceuticals was acquired by Bristol-Meyers in July 2012 for $5.3 billion. Complete design & construction administration. *NORTH DAKOTA STATE UNIVERSITY (NDSU) – Fargo, ND This project was a multi-level, research & development laboratory building entitled the Northern Crops Science Lab – a USDA building, which include office spaces, classroom spaces, laboratory spaces, seed cleaning/drying facilities, plant growth chambers electron microscope labs, and BSL3 labs, for USDA Agricultural Research Services scientists, performing research on barley, hard red spring wheat, durum wheat, sugar beets, potatoes and sunflowers. Phoenix Controls used throughout. Very first, large-scope project for Phoenix Controls, making Phoenix Controls a credible/respected company.
