AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering, lighting and technology (low voltage, audiovisual, and security) design for BART Headquarters, which is a beautiful 10-story 244,000 SF high-rise facility located in Oakland, California. The newly renovated project includes open and closed offices for 1,300 employees with other conveniences such as a community break room, conference spaces, building maintenance rooms, and other amenities such as a modest roof-top deck/workspace, with tenant-design ready ground floor street activated café and coffee shop with Plumbing, HVAC, and sprinklers stubbed to suite. BART Headquarters looks to set a standard for public transportation in the Greater Bay Area.

This project is pursuing the LEED Gold Accreditation. Original retrofit was also done by AlfaTech.
