SUMMARY
PROJECT EXPERIENCE ADI, Santa Clara, CA Lead Electrical Engineer on this project to relocate the corporate headquarters into two warm shell buildings in Santa Clara Square. The project encompassed nine of the twelve floors, 345,000 SF. The design consisted of 280,000 SF of office space with amenities, various lab and specialty program spaces including: 40,000 SF of light electronic labs; 10,000 SF electronic test lab with Class 100,000 clean room; 700 SF of wet labs; 1,200 SF data center; 11,00 SF customer experience center; an executive board room; logistics / shipping / receiving area; and a raised 60 person auditorium. CONFIDENTIAL CLIENT, Sunnyvale, CA Lead Electrical Engineer on this 750,000 SF, 18-acre campus project. The design consisted of three interconnected, six-story buildings with two levels of podium parking on the ground totaling 752,000 SF; 25,000 SF cold core and shell café building; six-story parking garage; open and collaborative environment with furniture systems; private offices; software/light-hardware labs in buildings 1 and 2 totaling 36,000 SF; server room with cooling redundancy; fitness center and wellness center 10,000 SF. This project aims to constructability, and energy use issues by coordinating with other disciplines to seek the optimal solution. He is also particularly experienced with projects involving the Division of the State Architect (DSA) and the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). OKTA, San Jose, CA Lead Electrical Engineer on this two-phase, high-rise office tenant improvement project. Phase 1 included the 14th floor for a total of 18,544 SF of open office workstations, meeting rooms, conference, IT and support areas. Phase 2 encompassed floors 4 through 11 and the 15th floor for a total of 182,156 SF. The space included open office workstations, meeting rooms, conference rooms IT and support areas. Technology design services consisted of the 5th floor for a total of 20,000 SF of tenant improvements. UBER – 1455 MARKET STREET, San Francisco, CA Electrical Project Manager for this project that consisted of tenant improvements to five floors in this high-rise building, a total of 177,000 SF. AlfaTech provided MEP engineering and commissioning services for this company’s original headquarters. James is an electrical engineer and project manager responsible for overall electrical systems design from concept development through construction administration. His role as an engineering manager extends from new construction and renovation of existing facilities to the design and installation of alternative energies. James brings a successful problem solving approach to each project encompassing project budget limitations, achieve LEED Platinum as per the City of Sunnyvale’s requirements for tenant improvements to all buildings.
