The firm performed a mechanical system analysis and documented findings and recommended improvements in a detailed report. The report addressed current infrastructure characteristics and ability to meet current and future load demands, and potential phasing and intertie issues. The firm also recommended how to improve operating efficiencies and take advantage of energy conservation opportunities.

The firm provided MEP design services for Suite 100 &105, approximately 60% of the overall floor plate. The scope includes urgent care exam rooms, x-ray, infusion rooms, laser dermatology, and dermatology exam.

Study and assessment of 3 feasible options: (1) PV’s on parking canopies only, yielding only 30% (2.2 MW system) of the campus’ annual electric usage; (2) combination of building roofs and parking canopies (3.2 MW system); and (3) how much additional space required, and where, in order for the system to pay for 50% of the campus’ annual electric usage (3.4 MW system).

The firm performed site surveys and prepared required documentation for the identification of possible Legionelle colonies to be sampled by a testing agency. Facilities included in this study were the Hospital Tower, 1900 Mowry building, Mobil Surgery Unit, Cooling Tower, Laundry and Central Plant facilities and the Washington West building.

The firm performed engineering design services for this Plumbing and electrical services to upgrade the hospital with 58,651 SF clinical building area.The project achieves LEED Gold Certification for New Construction and is the first Outpatient Surgery and Oncology Center in the nation to achieve this rating. All design elements—from planning to materials—were guided by the concept that a more natural, and less clinical, environment promotes healing in patients and supports alert, productive behavior in doctors, staff, and student.

The firm performed engineering design services for, 521,000-square-foot building extension in 12 floor. They provide roughly 7,000 patient visits annually with 196 staffed beds.
