MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, Los Angeles, CA Principal-in-Charge for this ground up construction project for a two story, Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), formerly OSHPD 3, medical office building, approx. 52,000 SF. Programming for the first floor includes a primary care clinic with exam and procedure rooms, dental, behavioral health and provider offices. The second floor includes an outpatient ambulatory surgery center with four operating rooms, Pre-Op/PACU and an in-house sterile processing department to support the surgery suite. Additional services include a wound care suite and a telehealth program, offering on-going virtual follow-up support for patients. The remainder of the two floors consists of unfinished shell space that the hospital intends to outfit with vital services that may include dialysis, infusion, imaging, and pharmacy. 250 parking spaces with 6 EVSE charging stations. 650 RAYMOND AVE, MEDICAL OFFICE BLDG, Pasadena, CA Principal-in-Charge for the core and shell MEP systems to support the new 4 story mixed-use facility and its 5-level underground parking structure (4 parking, 1 surgical center). Programing includes 32,000 SF of medical space for Specialty Practice, Internal Medicine and Family Practice, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Lab, Imaging, and Central Scheduling and administrative offices as well as 3,331 SF of retail space. The MEP systems are designed to Health Care Access and Information (HCAI), formerly OSHPD3 standards, and 3,331 SF of retail space is supported with a VRF system. CEDARS-SINAI URGENT CARE, West Los Angeles, CA Principal-in-Charge for the MEP design services for 8,200 SF in Suite 100 &105, approximately 60% of the overall floor plate. The scope includes urgent care exam rooms, x-ray, infusion rooms, laser dermatology, and dermatology exam.

Diarmuid is the President of AlfaTech SoCal offices and brings years of experience leading a team of engineers on a wide variety of projects comprising of core and shell renovations, ground-up new construction and tenant improvements. As part of his experience, Diarmuid provides strong technical expertise, leadership, problem solving strength, mentorship of the mechanical EIT’s and intermediate engineers, code compliance reviews and QA/QC of the designs. He ensures the continuous development of office standards/procedures, the latest engineering software, energy efficient MEP product research, green design research, LEED design implementation as well as energy modeling reviews.
