The firm performed engineering design services for the upgrade of the Cath Lab X-ray machine and support equipment.

The firm prepared the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for the upgrade of 4 HVAC systems to comply with current OSHPD code requirements. Modifications were made to upgrade the existing domestic water distribution systems; including the incorporation of an instantaneous domestic hot water system. A new condensate return system replaced an existing non-functional system. Modifications to the electrical distribution system were made to accommodate the new equipment. Modifications were made to the existing fire alarm system to achieve OSHPD code compliance.

The firm prepared mechanical and electrical construction documents involving the remodel of patient residential buildings to create double occupancy sleeping rooms. Work included upgrading of HVAC, electrical and fire and life safety systems.

The firm performed engineering design services for the remodel of the seventh floor of Peninsula Hospital. Improvement areas included radiology, physical therapy, labor and delivery rooms, morgue, conference center and mobile lithotripter. Mechanical and electrical engineering services accomplished a utility relocation along with the addition of a 300-ton chiller and associated mechanical/electrical equipment.

ST. LUKE’S HOSP ITAL San Francisco, CA

The firm prepared the mechanical, electrical and plumbing design for the upgrade of two existing Radiology Rooms, X-ray machines and provided the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for the new X-ray machine and support equipment. The firm designed the mechanical system that will support Radiology Room 4, Radiology Room 5 and Radiology Room 6 in the future. Modifications were made to the existing fire alarm system to achieve OSHPD code compliance. We also provided design services for the conversion of two chart rooms into two medicine rooms and two chart rooms.
