AlfaTech provided design-build mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design for the Firefighting Operations Building 322 in Barstow. The project was for the repair and repurpose of an existing 21,568 SF Public Works Heavy Vehicle/Equipment Garage (Building 322) and produced a FC 4-730-10N compliant Headquarters Fire Station combine the existing facilities at Building 236 and Satellite Fire Station Building 18. The MEP work was done in compliance with UFC 1-200- 02 “High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements” and FC -1-300-09N. Project included, Apparatus Room, Oxygen Tank Maintenance Room, Protective Clothing Laundry, Equipment Maintenance Room, Equipment Wash/Disinfection, EMT Storage and Medical Storage Cabinet, Hazmat/CBRNE Equipment Storage, Vehicle Maintenance Bay & Equipment Storage, EMS/Bio-Hazard Cleanup Room, Independent Living Quarters/Dorm Rooms (12), Kitchen, Fitness Room, and Outdoor Patio/BBQ.
