AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services for this project which consisted of the complete demolition of 290 Sutter and adjacent 272 Sutter and construction of a 73,500 SF the first ground up six-story retail and office mixed-use building in Union Square in more than 20 years. Programming included 3 levels of premier retail space and 3 levels of Class A office space. The building features an aluminum scrim system, which served as an extra layer to hold sunshades and was anchored to each slab of the development.
