Goop is a natural health company founded by actress Gwyneth Paltrow. It takes a multifaceted approach to health, travel, and style, creating and recommending products while producing thoughtful content on living holistically. AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and technology design services for the tenant improvement of Goop’s new 55,000 SF headquarters which is located at the new Santa Monica Gateway Development. The project consists of executive offices, meeting rooms, open office space, hot yoga studio, (2) Full test kitchens, cosmetics laboratory, photo studio, R&D lab space (fume hoods, autoclaves, lab gas), QA space, showroom, Fashion area (Clothing rails, mock-up, seamstress), media walls, staff cafeteria, podcast studio, Edit Bays, IDF and main Server room. The program required extensive upgrades to the core and shell infrastructure to support the lab and kitchen requirements.
