AlfaTech has been engaged by Hudson Pacific Properties (HPP) to provide a peer review of the engineered design by a 3rd party engineering consulting firm for the current 5kV electrical utility infrastructure upgrade with Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP). This peer-review includes an electrical load analysis of the existing production office / stage loads with the proposed masterplan loads that includes the construction of the following new buildings: • (2)-3-Story Production Office / Soundstage • (2)-Underground parking structures with approximately 278 parking spaces with EV chargers in one and 1,442 parking spaces with EV chargers in the other, respectively. • Chiller Plant The existing electrical utility service will be upgraded from a single 5kV electrical service to two (2) 7.5MVA, 5kV Electrical Services for the studio lot. The two (2) electrical services will be divided such that one (1) 7.5MVA, 5kV Electrical Service will support the existing studio loads, while the other service will support the new proposed masterplan loads. • 15-Story Tower Building • 7-Story Tower Building
