AKQA is a media company that works with clients to build inspiring ideas, innovative experience. Headquartered in the renovated historic Hills Bros. Coffee Plant this tenant improvement project included open office space, conference rooms, and support space. The client desired an inspiring workspace consisting of a blend of open space mixed with a variety of huddle areas and conference spaces. Natural light was a priority. AlfaTech provided full mechanical, electrical and plumbing design as well as technology and security services for this project. Due to floor-to-floor height limitations, AlfaTech worked with the architect’s design to provide a creative exposed oval duct distribution with shallow height to accommodate the space and maintain the integrity of the overall design throughout the space.
