The overall scope of work is to deliver engineered construction documents for the segregation of HVAC from larger Stage 4 so that both existing (50-Ton) packaged units can continue to serve the (2) smaller Stages 1&7 independently. A new (90 Ton) unit shall be provided for Stage 4 which shall be located upon a structural steel platform to preserve parking on the west side. The existing supply and return trunk mains entering from Stage 1 & 7 shall be capped. The existing supply trunk main in Stage 4 shall be re-worked if possible pending ductwork velocities. A new return air duct shall be added to Stage 4. A gas line shall be routed to the new packaged unit for Stage 4 to provide tempering of the air. Condensate piping was routed to an LA city approved plumbing receptor from the new Stage 4 packaged unit. We provided e design of a new electrical Medium Voltage (MV) substation to replace the existing 2.4kV substations serving existing Stage 4 and Stage 7, respectively. Design a MV substation, multi-tap transformer, 5kV & 2.4kV which serves Stage 4, Bull Switches and an AC unit serving Stage 4 and 7.
