AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering and low voltage, audio visual and security technology design services for the tenant improvements to the 2nd and 3rd floor at their facility at 211 Main in San Francisco, CA. Project included converting portion of existing MDF and lab to open office area, UPS upgrade, conference rooms, trader areas, offices and breakrooms. Total project scope was 32,000 SF (15,560 for 2nd Floor & 16,390 SF for the 3rd Floor). Scope included design of HVAC systems for remodel areas, design for lighting renovation and alterations implementing Title-24 requirements, new power distribution and replacement of existing AC units and PDUs in MDF room, Redesign of the MDF to accommodate a reduction in size, and design of the low voltage cabling infrastructure.
