AlfaTech was established in Silicon Valley in 1987 as a mechanical, electrical, and technology (low voltage, security, and A/V) design engineering firm. Responding to client needs, we expanded our service offerings to include architectural lighting design, sustainability, Smart Buildings, and project management services. In addition, we expanded into five California offices, including San Jose (Silicon Valley), San Francisco, Monrovia, Orange and San Diego. AlfaTech is gaining ground through organic, merger, and acquisition growth. Establishing Vela Tech portfolio with parent company Dorsch Global, our services reach the West Coast to the Midwest and the East Coast from partner offices in Seattle, Chicago, Reston, and Edison. We also have an international presence with offices throughout Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East. AlfaTech has a solid reputation forged by a corporate commitment to enduring client relationships and service excellence. We provide complete design, design-assist, and design/build project delivery services. Our project experience includes core and shell, tenant improvements, upgrades, repositioning, and restacks. AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical and pluming engineering services for the tenant improvements of two existing spaces, the Spa at level 1 and the Salon at level 3. Scope included locker rooms, reception, retail & hair salon, fitness center/solarium, and treatment rooms. Additionally, the Fitness Center/Solarium had replacement for the floor/wall/ceiling finishes, decorative and architectural lighting, and FF&E; Fitness Equipment.
This exceptional and luxurious spa will further enhance the resort's luxurious five-star experience. Miraval Life in Balance Spa Aviara and debuted in the spring of 2023.

AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing engineering and acoustical design for a 5-star luxury boutique hotel resort facility located in Palm Springs, CA. The project consists of 30 keys split across approximately 37,000 SF and 10 buildings. The project’s design invokes the Art Deco style of the existing complex. The scope of work included the design of the MEP and low voltage systems. Each guest room is provided is provided with VRF fan coil units for individual thermal controls. The resort also includes a standalone catering kitchen, banquet and meeting facilities, a full bar, a heated outdoor pool, EV charging stations and a distributed audio systems across the outdoor resort spaces. The project is projected to complete construction in 2022.

AlfaTech provided low voltage, audio visual and security technology design for this 250-guestroom, 16-story hotel in San Francisco. Project includes 8,000 SF of meeting space and a 120-seat restaurant, main lobby, restaurant, bar/lounge, market, courtyard, living room, workspaces, community space, fitness room and rooftop deck. The audio-visual system includes guest suite audio with inputs, background music and flat-panel displays and digital signage in common areas, presentation and conferencing systems for meetings in the conference rooms, dedicated AV systems providing network-based control of installed common area audio and video systems, and audio-visual for the amenities spaces including fitness center and meeting rooms. The security design focused on controlling and monitoring access to the common areas, building entries, amenity spaces, parking and common exterior areas. The systems include video surveillance, access control, guest entry and coordination of electronic locking hardware.

The project tis currently under DD design and AlfaTech is providing all MEP/FP engineering.

AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design for this 6-story, 80,183 SF, 150-key hotel in Burbank. Project included flexible meeting spaces, a state-of-the-art fitness center, pool and rooftop lounge and bar with onsite dining and a PV system capable of providing 10% of the building’s energy consumption and 7 EV charging stalls.

There are approximately 50 rooms on each floor and 21 model room types.

Provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and sustainable design for the addition and renovation of the existing hotel building at the Napa Embassy Suites. The addition is 36,000 SF, four stories high and is comprised of 47 new guest rooms and a spa. The design concentrates on maximizing passive systems and active mechanical systems will help control space air conditioning in the common areas and spa. The plumbing design will specify low flow fixtures to help reduce water usage. Renewable energy systems will be implemented to reduce energy consumption from gas and grid power.

AlfaTech provided Low voltage structured cabling system design for the approximately 115,000 SF site. The firm also provided audio visual and security for the guest rooms access control system and perimeter security systems. The objective was to convert the existing property into an exclusive meeting space with overnight accommodations that deliver a high-tech and high-touch guest experience. The renovation included the design and construction of two floors in the main office building consisting of 57 new guest rooms, upgrades to existing common areas, a new exhibit gallery, store, banquet space and bar and lounge. Renovations also included existing office space, meeting rooms, and a fitness area that includes a new spa and future outdoor swimming pool.

The expanded space features MGM’s Stay Well Meetings – the industry’s first -ever wellness meetings experience which launched in 2014 – which expanded its footprint by 22,000 square feet, for a total of over 40,000 square feet – and encompasses the Conference Center’s entire second floor of both the new and existing space and includes amenities and programs designed to make meetings healthier, like air purification, aromatherapy and circadian lighting. All three levels of MGM Grand’s conference space feature floor -to-ceiling windows. Additional spaces within the expansion include the 10,000-square-foot outdoor Marquee Courtyard available for private events, the 47,000-square- foot Chairman’s Ballroom, 30,000-square-foot Boulevard Ballroom and two non-traditional boardrooms. The largest two ballrooms feature acoustically treated operable walls that can divide the spaces into 16 breakout rooms.
