AlfaTech is providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design services for the University of San Diego’s Wellness Center. The 3-level building has 93,000 SF of indoor space and 39,300 SF outdoor space. The indoor program includes 57,738 SF of Wellness & Recreation space, which will include yoga studios, strength and conditioning studios, exercise rooms, lockers & all-gender restrooms, 6,163 SF of aquatics space, and 30,108 SF of NCAA practice facility space. The outdoor program volleyball and basketball courts (2includes1,600 SF), along with a 35-meter swimming and diving pool (17,700 SF). Both the indoor and outdoor spaces will be provided with lighting by the AlfaTech architectural lighting design team.
