AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering and technology (low voltage and audio visual) design services for this new ground up commercial growing facility. Development includes a 45,000 SF 2-story office facility including audio visual presentation capabilities for board room and conference room, support labs, dry rooms, distillation room, winterization room, decarb and oven rooms as well as eight (8) greenhouse facilities (11,500 SF each) housing growing operations with a “headhouse” support structure. The greenhouse structure was a pre-purchased item, however the design included detailed design of the in-slab heating (and boiler) as well as design for the circuiting and controls for lighting. Programming included Whip and Finishing rooms, MPOE/MDF/IDF room, R&D room, Lobby and security areas, VEG room with dedicated HVAC system.

AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection engineering, architectural lighting, audio visual, and security design services to the Confidential Agriculture campus. The scope of work includes a 100,000 SF fresh and frozen storage space, 100,000 SF extraction and refinement facility, 20,000 SF mechanical shop, and central plant. Additional project goals included analyzing the suitability of a central utility plant in order to optimize the functionality and to enhance the sustainability features of the campus.
