AlfaTech provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology infrastructure engineering for El Capitan Canyon projects totaling over 24,900 SF of new recreational and support spaces, expertly integrating sustainable systems within the natural environment. The scope included 18,061 SF of new buildings at El Capitan Canyon, featuring a 4,861 SF Recreation Hall and Event Barn, 4,200 SF Fitness Center with kitchen and pool deck, 1,800 SF Spa Complex with wellness and thermal suites, 3,000 SF Coral Cart Barn with electric cart charging stations, a 4,000 SF Maintenance Building supporting bike rentals and offices, and a 1,200 SF Family Pool Comfort Station. HVAC systems incorporated DX split, VRF, and rooftop packaged units with Title 24-compliant digital controls. Specialized ventilation systems served commercial kitchens, locker rooms, showers, and pool equipment areas. Plumbing systems covered sanitary waste, domestic water, gas for kitchens and pool heaters, and grease waste management. Electrical design included upgraded site service with distribution boards and subpanels supplying HVAC, audio-visual, security, and outdoor amenities. AlfaTech also provided dedicated electrical infrastructure support for IT/AV and security systems, ensuring robust connectivity and power throughout the site. For the 6,900 SF F1 Clubhouse complex, AlfaTech provided MEP and technology infrastructure design for a 4,900 SF event space, 1,400 SF support shed, and 600 SF bathhouse. The project featured DX split and VRF HVAC with Title 24 controls, dedicated kitchen and restroom exhaust, and individual electrical panels per building. Power distribution was designed to support client equipment, IT/AV systems, security, and outdoor amenities like pool cabanas and event pavilions. AlfaTech also provided MEP design for modernization of the lobby and restaurant on this property, upgrading HVAC with Title 24 controls, restroom exhaust, plumbing for kitchens and gas piping, and electrical systems supporting food service, POS, AV, IT, security, and outdoor event power. Highlights included a new guest lounge with gas fireplace, an expanded outdoor dining terrace with gas fire pits, and the signature “Tree Bar” to anchor indoor -outdoor events.
